Full Life participant Kahu Kauila Haumea has participated in the Abled Hawai’i Artists (AHA) Annual Art Festival every year since its inception in 2008!  His participation in what was supposed to be a visual and performing arts festival established the healing arts component of  AHA!  Since then, Kahu Haumea has honored those in attendance by opened AHA’s annual event with an oli (chant)!

Ten years later, through  Full Life Employment Services Program (ESP), Kahu Haumea is expanding AHA to establish an annual healing arts festival!  Kahu Haumea’s Aloha Healing event occurs during Hilo’s First Friday Artwalk, in ouroffice between 4pm to 7pm!

During the First Friday Aloha Healing Event, Kahu Haumea and other Healing Arts Practitioners will feature a variety of healing modalities.  This allows the public to experience one type of healing modality- lomilomi- FREE!  Every First Friday event will feature a different healing modality, to build a base that will lead to Kahu Haumea’s annual event!  For more information on Kahu Kauila Haumea, click here: Kauila Haumea: Healing the World a Little at a Time
