Full Life offers a full range of Hawaii state authorized Waiver Services that are uniquely person-centered, flexible and customized.
Full Life’s Waiver Services include:
- Personal Care: Assistance with and training on personal hygiene, healthy cooking, housecleaning and other daily chores.
- Access to the community: Transportation and assistance for any activity where help is desired including doctors appointments, shopping for food and personal items, recreational activities, and attending community events.
- Increasing skills: Assistance acquiring skills and knowledge to enhance your quality of life.
The Medicaid Waiver program calls the above services Personal Assistance Habilitation (PAB).
Personal Assistance Habilitation services help clients with daily activities and teach skills that increase independence and encourage participation in the community.
Necessary skills may include personal grooming, preparing meals, eating, doing household chores, and participating in community activities.
Daily activities may include in-home activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, preparing meals and cleaning, as well as accessing community resources, increasing circle of supports, building relationships, and supporting health and safety.
The individuals Full Life supports select the person they wish to provide Personal Assistance Habilitation services from our fully qualified Direct Support Staff.
Full Life does background checks, pre-screens the applicants prior to the client’s interview, and provides complete training in CPR/First Aid, Positive Behavioral Supports, Health and Safety, Communication, Teaching Strategies, Professionalism and Self-Determination.
