The Next Chapter Book Club is part of a network of over 250 Next Chapter Book Clubs throughout North America and Europe.

The Next Chapter Book Clubs are designed to provide a social outlet for adults and adolescents with developmental disabilities which allows them to read and learn together, build friendships, and enjoy activities in the community.   The only requirements for joining the club are that you are at least 17 years old and have a developmental disability.  You do not have to know how to read to join.

Full Life’s Next Chapter Book was honored by Governor Niel Abercrombie on May 28, 2014 for being the first Next Chapter Book Club in Hawaii.

The Next Chapter Book Club meets every Wednesday at Jamba Juice.  This group has 7 regular members and is full.  We are looking for a facilitator and co-facilitator to start a second club in Kona and a club in Hilo.  If you are interested, please contact Barbara or Stone at 322-9333 or email us.
