Louie has a very soft spoken demeanor, when reflecting on his accomplishments. An avid runner, he represented USA in the 2011 World Special Olympics in Athens Greece. Louie took home three gold medals. Not bad for someone who has had a lifetime of chronic asthma. Not to mention he was teased as a child due to a physical disability which he overcame through running!
To say that Louie inspires others is an understatement. After successfully launching his micro-enterprise in nature photography, his Direct Support Professional (DSP) was inspired to establish Abled Hawai’i Artists, an annual art festival celebrating the spectrum of creativity and promoting inclusive entrepreneurship in the arts! Abled Hawai’i Artists 14th Annual Art Festival is the largest celebration of the ADA in the Hawaiian Islands. Join us on Saturday, July 17, 2021 for this all-inclusive virtual extravaganza!
