After graduating from Kea’au High School in 2010, Daylan immediately joined Full Life where he refined his prevocational job skills with his job interests. This landed him a volunteer work position at Garden Exchange in downtown Hilo. His patience and hard work paid off, when he was hired on as a hardware store worker in October, 2013. That’s just the beginning!
Daylan’s empowering Employment Direct Support Professional kept him motivated to dream big! His love of sketching martial arts and anime led to the development of his unique greeting cards micro-enterprise. Recently displayed in an art show at Waterfront Plaza in Honolulu, Daylan’s artwork and cards are currently on display and available for purchase at Garden Exchange, Full Life in Hilo and The Thrift & Gift in Kona.
