Office Manager/HR Assistant (Kona)
Full Life is seeking an Office Manager/HR Assistant in our Kailua-Kona office. The Office Manager creates and maintains a welcoming, warm, and well-organized office. Must be an open-minded team player with a positive attitude and excellent problem-solving skills. Highly important to follow verbal and written instructions while working under pressure, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines. Must maintain confidentiality for agency participants (HIPPA.) Personal or professional experience with individuals who have developmental disabilities is desirable but not required.
Daytime work hours Monday through Friday 40 hours per week. Occasional weekend or evening hours for special events. Other requirements include : Current computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.), Excellent verbal and written communication skills. May need to resolve conflicts with judgement and discretion • Strong organizational skills.
Office Manager’s job duties may include:
– Receptionist duties such as greeting visitors and answering phone
– Recruiting and conducting initial interviews with applicants
– HR tasks such as onboarding new hires
– Payroll tasks including receiving, reviewing and routing time sheets
-Finance support such as entering bills, receiving checks, reviewing and entering employee reimbursements
-General office support including entering data, uploading documents, filing, and creating procedures to ensure office operates smoothly
-Facilities management including maintaining the office and office equipment
-Special projects supporting Program Supervisors and/or the Executive Director
-Other duties as assigned

Part-Time RN Service Supervisor (Kona and West Hawaii)
Develop and oversee nurse delegation plan for each direct support worker performing deligated tasks as defined in the Medicaid Waiver Contract
Medication management – applies to medications that are self-administered, assisted with, or administered during the time the participant is receiving paid waiver services.
Complete weekly medication assessment, dispensing, and storage.
Remove medications from home as appropriate
Complete site supervision visits, document on supervision notes
Attend Individual Service Planning (ISP) meetings and assist in the development of individual plans (IP)
Review/write quarterly reports documenting progress toward the outcomes of the IP
Update medical protocols as needed
Update Medication Administration Record as Needed
Ensure that there is a current physician’s order in participant’s chart for all medications that staff assist participant with
Train all Direct Support Staff on medication assistance
Report any adverse conditions/events to Program Director
DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS (Island Wide – based in Hilo)
Full Life is seeking a Director of Programs to oversee and bring leadership to the development, implementation, operation and administration of all programs and services that support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and other disabilities throughout Hawai’i Island. The Director of Programs is responsible for staffing, training, programming, maintaining operating budget, and leading a professional team.
We are looking for a Director of Programs to provide energy, excitement, and leadership during a period of transition in the State of Hawaii’s Medicaid Waiver Program and related employment services.
Minimum Qualifications include:
Must have a minimum of two years of supervisory experience, a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in social sciences or education and one (1) year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities; or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in another field with two (2) years verifiable experience working directly with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or the elderly; or RN licensed in the State of Hawaii. Master’s degree preferred.
The ideal candidate will have a history of progressively responsible management and supervision experience in providing services to people with disabilities. A working understanding of the Hawaii Medicaid Waiver Program and Employment First initiates is helpful.
