$100 Hiring Bonus for Kona and North Hawai’i Island

Full Life is seeking Direct Support Professionals for persons with developmental disabilities in Hilo, Kona, Waimea, and Honokaa. We have immediate part time, Full Time and on-call openings for caregivers to provide one on one support for individuals, both out in the community and in their homes. Some on call positions in Kona will be offered a stipend for being available to cover certain days. Duties include helping participants obtain their goals, participating in various hobbies, health and safety, and community events. Some positions require assisting with personal care and medication assistance. Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is helpful, but not required as we provide training for the right people.

Applicants must have GED or high school diploma, be able to pass a criminal background check and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract, current automobile registration, insurance and safety check. Other requirements for working with our participants are current CPR-First Aid certificate and 2 step TB clearance (we will assist you getting these requirements.)
