FEELING SAFE, BEING SAFE TRAIN the TRAINER

With the many adverse weather related emergency potentials on Hawai’i Island, it’s important to be prepared!  Full Life supports the State of Hawai’i Developmental Disability Council Self-Advocacy Advisory Council (SAAC) by participating and promoting the upcoming FEELING SAFE, BEING SAFE TRAIN the TRAINER event on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 9am-1pm at the East Hawai’i Aging and Disability Resource Center , at the ADRC, 1055 Kino’ole Street in Hilo ,

SAAC wants to provide training in the community to individuals with developmental disabilities on how to be prepared for an emergency.  They are looking for five self-advocates and facilitators to become emergency preparedness trainers.
